Arnold a Healthy Scratch ? Yet Thurston and Shortall are playing . Yeah this Rebuild just went into a Simon Driven Fast Forward Mode ......but I guess we all knew that .

Big comeback win tonight. Team looked shaky in the first but definitely got their bearings about them in the second.
Was very impressed with Schmitt, seems very sound defensively and has a great first pass along with PP QB in his first appearance. Campbell and Newcombe were very capable in limited PK duty.

Prices aside ......I thought all 4 new guys played well . Ruccia didn't have a lot of work but made a few real nice saves . Scmitt looked pretty calm and cool back there .

the time clock stopped at the 11 minute mark in the second side of the players bench i like luke patterson hands, that's the fourth time we beat them this year

Shortall has been our most consistent hardest working D all season, there is no way he gets scratched nor should he. The fact that they kept Thursten around and being a 20..he will play. Our 6 D last night played like a solid core, they will get better with familiarity and experience.

Arnold has for sure improved, and will get minutes, but he's going to be the 7th D now and that's fine. It's the role they intended for him at the start of the year before Bergeron left.
Would you keep Pattengale around? I bet the kid wants to play more hockey, but maybe he is happy being the 8th on his hometown club. I'd be tempted to send him back to Jr. A and use a platoon of Waugh, Pattengale, and Hayes as APs if injuries arise. Plus you have Desjardins and Carbonneau for Quebec trips. Get other kids some time with the team before pushing for a spot next year.

That's fine because obviously this is not a True Rebuild so put him in Junior A and let the Kid play , don't let him sit . I don't even know what happened to Pettengale .

Arnold has only been scratched twice in the last 2 months, once in Char and then last night.
