Hébert is the odd 20 out I think. I'd be ok with Shortall but I think Sly will try and upgrade him to get a top 6 forward.
As Hal said, Euro's will change this picture big time. Hopefully a top 6 forward and a goalie, maybe a third pairing D.
A goalie will have to come from somewhere as Ruccia has proven he has to have competition to play his best.
There is also futures tied to the Langlois deal for sure, and likely 3 top 20-25 picks battling for spots too.
Aucoin, Davis, Waugh and Desjardins look ready to compete of the 06's in U18/Jr B. MacDonald and Lochead are having good years at 17 but will have it tough.
Basically it is going to change a lot, again.

Two New Euro's will have a Huge Presence on this Roster . Go get two sure fire Snipers I say . Easier said than done. Even teams like Halifax and Quebec are having trouble finding impact euros these days. It's not impossible but the recent crop of euros has not been of the quality they were in the past. Especially since Russians are off the table for the foreseeable future. No Svechnikovs or Sokolovs are coming to save the offense

Especially since Russians are off the table for the foreseeable future. No Svechnikovs or Sokolovs are coming to save the offense While this is true, it's also true that there are currently at least 10 non-Russian import forwards in the league who could challenge for our top 6, so it's far from impossible and we should make better use of it than we have of late.

maybe after the world juniors this month the Euro's may come back to play some hockey here Ian Scherzer on Austria could be a guy that we have our eye on. There’s the CB connection with Kirk Furey being his coach and he fits perfectly into our 05 forward group.

He definitely fits into the 05 forward group but I'm not sure he'd want to leave his current situation, right now he's currently playing for Rögle BK J20 in the Swedish U-20 league. I'm not sure what minutes he's getting but if I was him I'd much rather stay in the Swedish U-20 league then come to Canada and play for one of the worst run organizations in the Canadian Hockey League
