Have no idea who's this guy that they gave a headset to........first of all you have to be able to engage with the crowd and create "fun and energy"......this guy has the most boring voice and has absolutely no delivery!......I have no issue with the on ice product or hockey operations........however some of the game day activities, or whatever you want to call them, leave a lot to be desired. Simple stuff such as "situational music" would be appropriate during various times in a game. Sending out a questionnaire to see what music people want to hear? ?...really???.....lots of great ideas have been developed, but some of these decisions that are being made are simply, for a lack of a better word, stupid!!! His Timing is way off . He knows nothing about when and when not to do his thing .

Absolute nailbiter, allowing 8 goals to a bottom team is brutal though, hardly striking fear into any top team we will potentially match up against come playoff time.
Seems like there's alot of mental weakness on our backend considering we were up 7-3 at one point.

Perhaps, some of the ragged play was due to the lingering effects of the 6 game road trip through Quebec and having to play 2 games in 17 hours or so?

Again I think you're reading too much into it but to each their own I'm not in the locker room and I assume neither are you so who the hell knows what's happening behind the scenes If they want to name 1 captain and 22 assistants it's their prerogative I couldn't care less I just want this season to be over. Their perogative gets to be criticized when its not producing any results. Its pretty simple. I'll stand by my comment on how embarrassing some of the choices are. And no, i'm not in the room. But that doesn't mean I don't talk to many people who are or are close to people who are. A couple of those choices just further prove how poor the front office seems to be at judging what leadership is at this level. If this season and the strategies implemented by this coach could be described as a chocolate sunday, this would be the cherry on top. The structural problems of this team will not be fixed by handing out A's, I can't get my head around who would have possibly come up with the idea of doing this with 14 games left in the season.

Paying 1st rounders+ for veteran defencemen was supposed to offer some stability by this point in the season considering the fact there's also 2 veteran goaltenders. We shouldn't be a team playing shinny with one of the CHL's weaker teams after a huge all in season. After the prices paid to add veterans the standards just have to be higher.

Can't see the Long Term the Plan that Shaw and Coutouriour have in place and I have no clue how Goyens says one thing and does another all the time and thinks people don't see or remember it . I have come to only one conclusion at this point of the Season and I direct this to the Great Fans on this Board of the Charlottetown Islanders ........" Don't ever take Jim Hulton for granted "....." You are so lucky to have him"......"it is so obvious that he knows what he is doing both behind the bench and on the phone "......"he obviously gets the very best out of his players".....and I am guessing he is well liked . You guys are the envy of a lot of Teams .

You'd think a proper long term plan would involve developing leaders among that young core and having an "A" or 2 for the kids we plan on doing great things here at some point. If you're a Squires or Lavoie and see who your leaders are this weekend you have to question what the hell is actually being evaluated here.

The leaders for next season were appointed on Saturday, a statement to further justify the trades make a X-mas. Development from within does not seem to be an option.

so he got a two month C good for his hockey career i guess The announcement was on 2/25. The regular season ends on 3/25. Assuming playoffs start with a normal schedule on 3/31 we play 2 games at home on 4/4 and 4/5 that likely wrap up the season. So its less than 6 weeks. 18 total games. We have young players we're putting a lot of hopes on who are not leadership material but players we've had for 2 months are. Are we not looking at character when drafting? What are they seeing in someone here 2 months but not someone younger that has been here longer and actually developing better than most expected? The mixed messages coming out of putting C's on 1 way veterans is mind blowing for me.

And i'll add this:
Yes i'm purposely not tossing names out of kids who don't deserve to be thrown under the bus for the poor decisions of the adults around them.
Letting so many play the style they do for 50 games is on the coach.
Assembling the players in the first place is on Sly who decided to toss the baby out with the bath water when coming in and doing wholesale changes of the veterans while leaving us wanting for more.
