Why is the name of Stephen Quirk now being thrown around in the Courteau mix? All I can find is an article in French that poses more questions than it answers. I remember Quirk with the Oland Exports and he was a solid player who could score goals or mix it up - whatever way you wanted to play. Those were the years when (IMO) Junior A was at its strongest with only a couple of Q teams and very few Maritime players on those Q rosters. If Quirk wants to talk openly - why not get him on The High Button. . . Maybe this is taboo discussion for the forum and better left alone? He's one of the complainants in the lawsuit against the CHL. He's not going to give interviews about anything while the lawsuit is in progress and he can't be more public than a lawsuit.

He's one of the complainants in the lawsuit against the CHL. He's not going to give interviews about anything while the lawsuit is in progress and he can't be more public than a lawsuit. Would a lengthy newspaper story talking about how he wouldn't let his kids play major junior and how it robbed him of his enjoyment of the game not be considered "doing an interview?" I know what you mean about names and dates - but still. . . I was wrong. He actually did an interview with Le Devoir a respected French paper in Quebec. Here's a translated excerpt. news.trenddetail.com/news/360316.html
