The teams at the top are very similar. London and Peterborough are the unlikely top teams in their league and if you measured just playoffs they would be higher than teams they defeated in playoffs like North Bay. In general consensus was the OHL had more parity across the league. The Q had 4/5 elite teams at top and the WHL had 5 teams head and shoulders over the other 17 in their league and a few that pushed hard before playoffs to make things interesting.
The games are now the best two teams left in each league and they are very hard to call. Really interested to see how Winnipeg does with games 3, 4 and 5 in Seattle. They have been a good road team all season. Started season with about a dozen games on road. This is really what has separated them from the class a little. But Halifax and Quebec are also good road teams. London has excelled at home but lost their game 2 at home which is a different dynamic for them in the OHL series against the main Cinderella of playoffs going into Peterborough.
