Cataford in the lineup after all! His eye looks pretty swollen. Milner with a few good stops early.

Is Milner playing ok.
It would be tragic if anything were to happen with Rousseau this season and we needed Milner long-term.
We’re down which is what I expected honestly. Still time for a comeback though.

The powerplay definitely needs work. And Vidicek and Cataford both need to get going offensively.
7 games a piece and neither of them has beaten a goaltender yet. They need to be better.
I agree Milner has been okay, but just okay. Both goals were savable, the first one especially, he lost the puck and just wasn't ready for that backhand that just kinda got thrown at the net.
Goal #2 was tough, but he bit on the move and half his body was blocking the side of the net.
Anyway, 3rd period on the way, hopefully the Mooseheads can fight back from this and get Jack his first W of the season.

Wow we’re walking away with at least a point, don’t even care if we lose this one, this is great.
Great work boys.
EDIT: It’s alright, big point. But man Milner got beat bad on that play lol. Great job boys. 3 points and one more game to go. I probably would’ve started Vidicek, Fournier in OT. But again, may not have changed the outcome. Well done.

It seems like Fournier has adjusted to the Q now

It seems like Fournier has adjusted to the Q now I still think he should be upgraded. Still not a top overager IMO.

He's earned a spot as of right now. Get Dumais back, pickup another 20 (Robidas), Fournier as the 3rd 20 behind Moravec, averaging around a pt/game. I don't see the problem with that.

Seriously though, I guess he is ok. I still feel he is lacking a bit of something. Boucher proved from day 1 that he was a goal scorer so I think that comparison is a little different.

I think the point Jacques Strap is saying Fournier doesn’t bring grit and size that Boucher brings something that is lacking with the Mooseheads for the exception of Cataford the Moose are small upfront lots of smaller forwards the addition of a couple skilled big forwards would balance the lineup more .

Boucher played way smaller than he stood. He was a pure sniper in a big man's body. I wouldn't go so far to say that he was soft, but there were many times last year he should have stood up for his teammates... and didn't. It was always my biggest gripe with him. If the goal is a big skilled forward to balance the lineup, Roelens should be our #1 target at the deadline.
