Kilfoil centering 3rd line. Rousseau back in nets. Code is a healthy scratch, joins MacKenzie. I like Cade, hopefully they have Fontaine and him Shifting. I definitely think the moose need 2 solid faceoff overagers at the deadline. But love that everyone on the team is taking the opportunity given to them. Todd is playing real hard, Crosby is very exciting, Fournier looks on and off. Love MacPhees grittiness. Here’s to hopefully a great game! 1-0 Moose. Go Moose Go!

Hope Levesque is okay. Would be a blow to lose him for any amount of time.

Not a single penalty in that game! Only a penalty shot! Well done by the first line on doing what they do best, and congrats Dumais on the franchise points leader! And of course Rooster too with the shut out! Got a little nervous at times, especially when Furlong would pinch.
Here’s my amateur evaluation of the game, I want to see the boys win more faceoffs, Cataford has been best in that department. I’d like to see MacKinnon shoot the puck more. And I’m waiting to say something about Ponzetto. Logan Crosby hasn’t even hesitated he’s jumped right in and performed well, not sure if the chemistry is working with two 16 year olds in Kilfoil and Peitzsche. I want to see that Levesque | Cataford | Crosby line back in action but it’s tough because we’re 8 in a row right now LOL. Brad MacKenzie said on the post-game show that they don’t plan on changing anything at this time. Peitzsche is definitely a future for us, still learning the game everyday, seems slightly out of place at times but he’s very confident out there I must say.
Keep up the great work boys, see you December 7th unless I get hooked up with a freebie! Go Moose Go!

Guy stepped up on Levesque and my guess would be he jammed or bent his wrist, hopefully nothing serious or broken. Could be hand or thumb I suppose, didn’t really look like elbow or shoulder.

Not much to say great weekend for the Mooseheads another 6 points, 8 straight victories Dumais setting a new franchise record today. Still areas to clean up but that will come thought they played better today than last night. Practise up boys little roadie starting Fri nigh in Cha.
Just a side note the lack of ushers today was kind of concerning, they were letting people walk up and down during the play, please wait for a whistle. There was no one at the top of Sec 15 today; I even mentioned it someone up there was going to ask; and then I asked security to ask them at the end of the first. Saw a few both first and second intermission just chatting. Didn't see one at the top of Sec 14 either. I mentioned it today and a friend said don't think there enforcing it like they used to, well they should, I get the first play or so will give people time to get to their seats but today I missed the first play because someone decided to stand right in front of me.

Yah mission accomplished I'd say. Any time you can get 6 points out of a 3-in-3 weekend it's a bonus. Moose are now 2nd overall in the league and have the best goals against. When was the last time a good Mooseheads team was 1st in goals against? Rousseau is the team MVP right now. Halifax is getting out-shot more than they ought to be, and Rousseau is there night in and night out. 36 save shutout Sunday afternoon.
Nice to see 9000+ on a Sunday afternoon in November. This is typically the time of year with the worst attendance. There's a buzz around the team and rightfully so. Almost tied now with Quebec for highest average attendance in the league.
Imagine a game between the Eagles and Mooseheads in 2000 with no power plays in it. It's certainly a different game now. Rivalries are based on the skill strength of the teams involved and not "who is going to fight who?". It takes a bit of zip out of Cape Breton/Halifax games for sure. But the game is evolving and it is still an entertaining product.
Typical Charlottetown/Bathurst road trip coming up this weekend before a big game against Baie-Comeau next Thursday night. Among their next 10 games Halifax plays Baie-Comeau, Moncton, Rouyn-Noranda and Drummondville, so it will be a good stretch to see where they're at ahead of possibly losing Dumais in December.

These two teams in particular seem to be, dare I say, friendly with each other?

I wonder if anyone else is going to Team Canada camp other than Dumais? It might be smart of Cam to make these trades for overagers before Dumais goes.

I’m not saying he should make it but he should get the tryout.

I’m not saying he should make it but he should get the tryout. 100%. He's been a part of the POE (U17, U18) and is one of the highest scoring 05s in the CHL (only Cristall and Rehkoph have more points). Should be a lock for next year's team so not a bad idea for HC to get him some camp experience.

Someone on Facebook said Levesque is out 4-6 weeks (wrist) hope that’s not true.

They got 1 whole game with a full lineup!
The disappointing for Levesque. But nothing too major. He'll be back.

He is out indefinitely and is expected to miss a significant part of the season. Crosby is out again as well (day-to-day). Missing Levesque definitely opens another gap in our offence.. I always said to not sell this year but with the injuries it may really be the best thing. We definitely won’t be contenders even if we make some good trades if we are missing Levesque and someone like Crosby during playoffs. Or maybe I’m overreacting? I don’t know really…
