The Eagles make a quick trip up to Bathurst,NB before returning home for a four game home stand starting Thursday.
The Eagles are still without Zach Biggar (Injured) and Angelo Fullerton (Sick) this game, hopefully the guys play a full 60 and come home with the 2 points.

Sloppy play on both sides, looked like pond hockey at times. But we won a winnable game and the beat rolls on.
First time seeing Cibulka in action and was impressed, nothing on the scoresheet yet but his footwork and decision making with the Puck seem to be as advertised.
Wasn't a fan of putting Burbidge on late in a tie game as he's a turnover machine and just doesn't skate to try and recover when he does lose the Puck.
Romeo 4 Goals in 5 games and +5. This kid is a great fit here, and really gets involved physically which we desperately needed in our forward group against larger teams.

I’d say 2 months ago this is a game we lose 3-1 instead of winning 3-1 with everything being the same for both teams. Now we seem to just have a little more push when things are sloppy and bounces aren’t going our way
Nice to see heading home - I’ll start the rumour now but word on street is we could see a Newcombe return on Thursday for hockey fights cancer night at the nest
We sha’ll see !!

Interesting enough, I was thinking the same thing, to the point of wondering what is going on with him lately. Points are there, which is great, but his compete level seems to have dropped off. Wondering if he is nursing an injury? Cibulka is an unreal skater, the points will come, he has the puck way to much to not start hitting the score sheet. The Romeo deal looks good early, real good. He seems fired up and putting in those tough mins.
