Scotibabnk Centre 7:00 PM News 95.7 and online
This is what they had last Sat, and last Sun in Moncton. Lines may look slightly different with Levesque and maybe Crosby's return. They'll get slotted in and a few players may get bumped. Or as mentioned they may also swap Kilfoil and Sprynar, as he has looked good and had some jump on the first line. 5-2 Halifax Sprynar with the winner. Have to be on our A game to get ahead of Moncton again. it's a 3 in 4 weekend for us, with a game at home Sat vs Chi and in CB Sun afternoon. It's also Ponzetto's first game back in Halifax with his new team. Go Moose Go.
Another interesting stat is Halifax/Moncton are the two least penalized teams so the key for Halifax will continue to be disciplined and our excellent PK.(I know were not playing Moncton I just thought that was interesting)
Kilfoil(Levesque) - Vidicek - Cataford Denis - Reynolds (Crosby if he plays)- Sprynar Welsh - Todd - MacPhee McPhee - Fontaine
Moravec - Furlong Schultz - MacKinnon Martin - Phillips MacKenzie
Rousseau Milner
Feel free to add Bathurst's lineup here.

I don’t think they will throw Levesque or Crosby into the top 6 immediately, I would wait a few games first.
It’s Midgley though so we’ll see what he has planned.

I don't think you'll see Sprynar off the top two lines unless he is really struggling. When Crosby comes back he should be on the 3rd line to get him reacclimated to the league.
Moose need to get better on the PP as I think they are 11th in the league.
I don't think Bathurst gets more than 2 goals but time will tell. 5-1 Halifax.

Great, Levesque is back on the second line - makes me happy. But now Kilfoil is injured/sick. Crosby still not back. Sprynar on the top line with Vidicek and Cataford!

At least we’ll see more of Luke McPhee in action on the third line, I love his energy and worth ethic. However sometimes it looks like he’s just skating in circles, I think he’ll be a solid depth guy.
I’m curious how the Lou sandwich goes on the 2nd line with Reynolds in the center. Ok that sounds wrong. Anyways, hope that line does well.

If I had a dollar for every game the moose had a subpar first period I’d have like 30 bucks.

The lines are being juggled trying to generate something. Furlong has had a rough game... same with Reynolds.
Furlong is getting the puck in dangerous area and just circling back to the line killing the play.
Reynolds... he's skilled but he can make some bonehead turnovers over-handling the puck... and usually when he does he just kinda gives up on the play instead of trying to get it back.
Not many mooseheads are great tonight tho. Milner and Levesque have been for sure but... mixed bag all over

Milner and Levesque have been for sure but... mixed bag all over Furlong 3 or 4 times has cut back to see if a play will develop or open but it's not working... have some urgency, get it to the net, at least give it the opportunity for a lucky bounce or rebound if the perfect play isn't there. The Moose had what felt like a 6 minute shift in the Bathurst zone but other than that stretch pretty uninspired.

Overtime… let’s see if Levesque or Sprynar or somebody can generate something.

Bad defensive coverage AGAIN in OT. Cataford easily had that post covered but turned off into no mans land.
