I hope you’re wrong. Not saying you are but I hope you are. Last week they had 3 games and got 5 points. Reading what I just wrote as is you would think that sounds like a great week. On paper yes it was a good week buuut if you were actually watched the games Halifax never in any of those games seemed like the favourite to win. The first game they gave up the lead with a minute left then lost in OT. Game 2 they trailed going into the 3rd and took over the lead with 7 minutes left, game 3 they took the lead with 8 minutes left. All the games were tight 1 goal games. I’m saying all that to say this weekend I want to see 2 5 or more goal games. I want to see scoring from both the 1st and 2nd lines tonight. I want to see the PP finally click with the new guys. I’m hoping for a 6-2 win for Halifax. I also want to see a 4 point weekend. This team needs to start playing like they actually are a contender! Right now they’re more a pretender.

Wow we were buzzing for the first 2 periods. 3rd period was a little slower. Felt like the refs weren’t on the ice for the first 50 minutes. Only thing to improve is to put more pucks on net - that would increase our shot counter and wear out their goalie.
Moncton lost in Cape Breton so we have a nice buffer again. Let’s keep the streak rolling sunday. Go moose go.
Baird-Comea is back 5:0 against Chicoutimi and Gatineau is beating Drummondville (well Drummondville turned it around)? But now I saw the Armada are ahead against Victoriaville. What’s happening.

First 2 periods were good for the Mooseheads but the 3rd was a little slow I thought. Reynolds went off favoring his shoulder and it did not look good. We can't catch a break with injuries.

Have we seen a more complete player in Halifax than Cataford? I'm not sure we have.
First goal works his ass off to get to the net, beautiful tip. Second goal, perfect wrister far post. He does it all, night in and night out.
Reynolds did not look good. Weird, harmless looking play. It's apparent this year is one of those injury bug years for Halifax. Hope he's not out too long.
He didn't get on the scoresheet, but thought Crosby had a really good game. Skated well. His skating has improved too, he's playing faster. With his size, he can be a lot to handle when he plays like that.

Cataford doesn't dominate in any one way, but he does everything well; shot, strong and physical, corner work, skating is good, competes hard. I thought Doucet on the 22-23 team was similar but Cataford is doing it at a younger age. Drag for Reynolds. I think everyone has been waiting for him to break out since getting here, but we'll have to wait. Hope, for him and the team, that it isn't too serious. Rousseau continues his stellar play. Lou Levesque is a difference maker with his speed. High hockey IQ as well.

That is the best game the Mooseheads have played in a long time, they were cycling the puck well and hitting some; of course Rooster got a couple lucky breaks with 2 goals called back on Cha. I like how disciplined both teams were, and I think Leblanc/Hopkins did a decent job letting them play. ( I did disagree that Halifax should have been penalized on either play at the end, Schultz didn't really do anything and Denis didn't really do anything except the Cha player mauling him but we won so it's okay) Midge had some good line combos going tonight, Unfortunate bounce for Reynolds hopefully he isn't out too long.(And just as were starting to get healthy). Let's keep that up against CB, the ship has for sure turned points in 7 straight. (Even better thanks the Eagles the Wildcats lost so we now have a 7 pt lead on them of course they have 4 games in hand)

So regarding reynolds, it seems like a dislocated shoulder or broken collarbone - both probably being season ending. Anyone have a more positive diagnosis?

Not trying to give u a hard time but I don't know how u can tell anything from that. There was no obvious hit or anything that I saw. He was definitely favoring his shoulder but maybe it was just a tweak of something and not and outright break or something worse. I guess I am trying to stay positive because that is a big loss if he is gone.

I’m sure we will get a n update during the moose minute tomorrow. I like your positive thinking!
