Sidney Crosby. This brings up the debate, at 20 years old, can he still be sid the "kid". He is no longer a teenager

I personally like the idea of changing it to "Sidney the Kidney" myself.
Also, best hockey player on the planet.

The Penguins are fortunate to have the best goalie in the world(Fleury) and the 2nd and 3rd best players in the league(Crosby and Staal) It also doesn't hurt to have the best rookie d-man (Letang) and the best offensive d-man(Gonchar) ;D

Did you forget Malkin?

He's not in the top 3. I only included players that had in top 3's but I guess you could say he's the second best sophomore in the league, second to only Jordan Staal.

Sorry, you're wrong.

Sorry, you're wrong. Actually Gonchar was 2nd in scoring for D-men so take out Pronger,Lidstrom and Campbell and you might have a point. As for Malkin being better then Staal. Staal's +/- was +14 better then Malkin Staal had 56 less PIM Staal drew an INCREDIBLE amount of penalties while being shorthanded to even things up along with leading the league with 7 SHG. Staal had a better shooting percentage by around 9%. Staal led the league in this category too. I could go on and on with takeaways and giveaways and blocked shots but I think the points been proven.

Gonchar's stats were inflated by playing on the PP with Crosby, Malkin, et al. Sorry, you're still wrong.
