Came across this pic in an old issue of the Junior Hockey Magazine yesterday (I've been getting rid of some of my collection). Before 1980, we had a handful of Maritime players who would head off to play major junior every season. Guys like Lowell MacDonald and Wayne Maxner had done well individually, but it wasn't until 1982 when the Maritimes began showing that they were amongst the very best in numbers on the national stage. The pic below is the 1982 Memorial Cup All-Star team. Half of the All-Star team were made up of Maritimers (Chabot, Boutilier and MacInnis), and it sure brought back memories of the Cooperalls. Jeff Larmer; John Chabot; Sean McKenna; Paul Boutilier; Al MacInnis and Michel Morrissette. Geez, these guys look like they are in their mid 20's or older. lol.

Insert obligatory Mitch Hedberg joke:
"One time a guy handed me a picture and said 'here's a picture of me when I was younger.' Every picture is of you when you were younger."
