Wow. Absolute disaster. Reynolds, Cataford and Vidicek are barely noticeable. We can’t get a single breakout going. We are being outshot. First and second line hemmed in our own end 80% of the time. We allow breakaway after breakaway. I think the titan had multiple 3 on 1 or 2 on 1. I’m usually pretty positive but this will end the playoffs after the first round. We need to take control NOW.
Edit: we somehow tend to play at the level of our opponent. If we play a top team, we play a top game and vice versa.

Bathurst have our number, we just shit the bed against them. Again, not enough finish, and way too many high quality chances against.

Well guess we gotta hope this isn’t the first round matchup.

This one may be on the coach. It doesn't seem we learned anything from the last time we played them.

This is somehow the same team that won against Victoriaville and Drummondville back to back? How? Must have been luck.
Wow no one is showing up tonight - no one. Sad.

This is how they ramp up for the playoffs? Against a potential opponent? Embarrassing.

So why didn’t we show up for the first 50 min like we did in the last 10? We’re clearly the better team but we need to show it. Let’s hope the guys use the playoffs to do so.

The chemistry on this team right is non existent are Captain is playing like he can’t wait to get out of town ! Are defence which was are strength is now are weakness how does this happen a year later with the same defence it speaks volumes for are coaching or lack of it ! Any way the Simons were in town tonight watching another full house so I don’t think they walk away to upset !

That was a stinker. Baffling really.
Not sure why Mburanumwe didn't get the extra 2 minutes when he went after Cataford in the corner with about 1 minute left. Should have been 5 on 4 with Halifax pulling Rousseau making it 6 on 4.
Too many 2 on 1 and odd man chances. Rousseau kept them in it at times. Same old same old being outshot.
Bathurst punches up when they play Halifax. I hope it is them as a first round matchup as it should give Halifax a boost, if they win, knowing the final two regular season games they just played against Bathurst were an anomaly. Gotta hope they were, anyway.
Offence really struggles at times.
Reynolds seems disinterested or could have a minor nagging injury, but he isn't what I expected or saw for that matter from previous years when he played against Halifax. Let's hope he's saving it for the playoffs and will turn it up then.
Tough Moncton team on Sunday, but as someone mentioned, Halifax seems to play up or down to their competition. Time will tell.

Agreed an our Captain playing like he can’t wait to get out of town! Something has changed with this defence, it was our strength going into the season and now they are all over the place! Last year Furlong Moravec were the work horses and solid, logged a lot of minutes against top lines, Martin and Mackinnion were good together, and Schultz and Philips were fine! Maybe we need to get back to those lines!! Coaching wise there is no defence accountability, has great as Schultz has been offensively and he has been good but he is all over the place definesively taking himself out of the play that’s on coaching!!! Last night Bathurst pressed and we couldn’t make a good first pass, furlong had the puck at one point and no one moved to get open, if that first pass hits a player in stride it’s easier to get it in and that’s what we did in the last ten minutes!! Say what you want about Midgley but our assitant coaches are the same and that what puzzles me!!! Playoff around the corner and this is a veteran team and hopefully they figure it out!! Doesn’t matter what you do in the reg season it’s all about playoffs !!!

Got rid of the wrong players in my opinion , Fournier was a much better piece/ player than a disinterested Reynolds , and peitzche was for the future and be a good 3rd line guy right now he’s had a fantastic go in shawinigan , also I’m on the get rid of the coach bandwagon now , doesn’t seem to show any emotion , him or the players maybe he’s lost the room !!! Bathurst is gonna be a tough 1st round opponent!!

Has he ever had the room the problem with Furlong is he goes and plays well on Team Canada only to come back to Halifax and looses First line power play to Shultz and than gets his partner Moravic change to another pairing it’s like hello what did I do to deserve this Furlong is not handling it well but it sure has effected his game .The power play has been dismal at same time is Cam still with the Mooseheads I haven’t heard a peep from him at all !!!!

Reynolds has seemed disinterested since the day he got here. Not an impact player at all. Maybe he gets it going come playoffs, but I have my doubts. Plays soft and slow.
