To me, Bathurst over Halifax is the only real upset.

To me, Bathurst over Halifax is the only real upset. Especially considering they traded away 3 of their best players for 5 1st rounders and 2 2nd rounders. While Halifax traded for two big name OA's...

Well then. My favorite team (Charlottetown) and my least favorite team (Halifax) are out. Who do I cheer for now? Even the Kraken are out, I'm stuck in this sort of weird hockey limbo.

I'm hopping on the Eagles bandwagon. Their fanbase has been put through enough pain over the last many years and a run to the semis would probably do them wonders. While they are technically a rival of the Wildcats I don't put them in the same category as Halifax in that regard especially from a fan standpoint.

If it sways you one way or the other .....Ask Bois .....I am on record for years saying The Team from the Other Island has always been my 2nd Favourite Team to wish success for .

I've been leaning you guys and Drakkar. Both for not a great decade and also Newcombe and Chouinard.

The Eagles have a host of Atlantic born kids on their roster. I'll always cheer for a Maritime team first. I'm on the Eagles bandwagon for sure.

Depending on the series we lose, I'm never really opposed to cheering for who knocked us out. Like last year, we gave Quebec as much of a fight as we could and never really got embarrassed in that series. I look at it as we gave the eventual winner a decent fight when we shouldn't have. Drakkar beat us fair and square, reffing was either good or bad for both teams. I'd be happy seeing them win. As for the Eagles, you guys have a remarkable team this year. You had an awful start and turned it around in all aspects. I'd love to see that effort pay off for you all.

As an Islanders fan I tend to cheer for teams with former Islander players. I also like to cheer for the local kids. Of course this playoff season make a predicament:
Eagles: Romeo is a former Islander. Squires and Bigger are local. Maritime team. Super fun team to watch.
Titan: Sharkey, Huggan, & Clements are local. Coach is local. Maritime team. Love an "underdog" story.
Drakkar: Gill former Islander. Booth former Islander (thought he was traded before we saw him). Arsenault is local. Fun team to watch. And my Dad always used to tell me you want to lose to the best team that wins it all...
Leaning hardest towards the Eagles - definitely will be watching tonight and hoping they pull out a win (though I know Oceanic have former Islander Arsenault, who is always local, and Coughlin who is local)
On the other side of it, I am cheering for the Volts because I really, really, liked Repcik and Oliver.

Victoriaville getting outshot 51-21 and currently winning 5-3 is insane.
