Definitely surprised to see the Huskies eliminated in 5.

Also surprised Huskies out in 5..Rousseaus playoff numbers weren’t as good as regular season. Victoriaville hit a hot streak I guess where everyone is clicking!
Also surprised to see Sherbrooke holding on against the Voltigeurs especially with both St-Hilaire AND Mianscum injured. I don’t think they make the comeback but they’re putting them on their toes.

Alot of speculation on the French boards that Rousseau has been playing though injuries to both groin and catching hand. Again all pure speculation but that's the chatter among Rouyn fans.

If not they have pieces in place to move for another re-tool/re-build anyways. Sucks they lost Gill for the playoffs too

I had heard the hand injury thing before the playoffs started as well

Rouyn left home down 0-2 was akin to Halifax leaving home down 0-2. Difference was Halifax lost OT games to do it...I watched the first 2 Victo/R-N games...Rouyn started great and built a lead 3-1 over Victo in the first game. Came out full control clearly the best team. They had 24 shots in period 1 and finished with 51 in the game. The 3rd period things went south very quick last 12 minutes of game Victo got 5 unanswered goals (last was empty net)...and in the Q you come back and play again less than 24 hours the game was like 7-5 no confidence and it sunk the Huskies. So yes Victo got hot I guess, or R-N choked and never recovered. The big advantage now is Victo gets a little rest and if they get Drummondville it's not even a road trip those towns are 45 minutes apart. But really R-N getting upset is to me the biggest upset this year with due respect to Halifax losing to Titan. The Moose struggled with Titan all year and I predicted they had no hope to get beyond round 2. The Huskies were a favorite to win the league. I didn't feel the same about Halifax.

Cape Breton is the lowest seed still playing in the CHL.
