Sean Avery has denied making controversial comments attributed to him by a Toronto radio station regarding Jason Blake's battle with cancer in Saturday's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The NHL fined Avery $2,500, Tucker $1,000 Tuesday for the melee prior to Saturday night's game. www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=222807&hubname=

Avery need to get a ass kicking. There is no need to do that during warm up maybe a bit of talking but pushing players etc hitting them with the stick i think he should be suspended.

There needs to be a lesson sent to Mr. Avery that he cannot talk like that.

...Can't talk like what? I have no problem with what he did, nobody knows what was said except for him and the other players involved. I agree about the pushing but it was entertaining and you knew there were going to be fireworks.

Avery is a guy that every opposing fan hates......I'd love to have him on my team.........nobody knows if he said anything, so that point is moot.........as far as what happened during the warmups, that was kinda fun to watch.
