Hey all...not sure where to post this on the new forums, but I'll post it here.
I was talking with my boss again, and we were discussing rates for fan buses and this is what she's offering:
Rooms with one king size bed (non-smoking) or two double beds (smoking*/non-smoking) $71.00 + tax for two people $81.00 + tax for three people $91.00 + tax for four people
Two-Room Suites (one king size bed and a pull out couch that turns into a double bed) {smoking*/non-smoking} $85.00 + tax for two people $95.00 + tax for three people $105.00 + tax for four people
* - we only have a limited number of smoking rooms available, and they usually go fast.
Keep in mind, anyone coming that is under the age of 18 (meaning 17 years, 364 days old and younger) stay free. Be sure to mention if you're bringing anyone under the age of 18 so that we don't over-charge you.
We've done studies, and kilometer-wise, we're the closest hotel to the arena (1.2 km), and for those of you who enjoy a drink after the game, we're right across the street from a pub that gives the special on drinks if you present your ticket stub. Can't really vouch on how good their service is as I don't drink, and I've only been there once for like 10 minutes.
Once again, we're located at 777 St. Peter Avenue (right beside the Burger King & Wendy's if anyone gets hungry), and to make your reservations the number is 1-506-548-4949. We'd be glad to have you stay with us. It's always fun to meet people coming into town to support their teams. God knows I had fun meeting the Lewiston and Cape Breton fans last season.
Take care, and hopefully we'll see you this season.

On behalf of everyone I'd like to thank you for posting these rates. It does not in anyway affect me however since I have a place to stay anytime I make the trip up north but I'm sure some people could use these. How many teams usually stay over night in the regular season? I Know Moncton doesn't. Maybe if Cape-breton got a 3 day thing going or something...

I thought smoking rooms were illegal in the province of NB, due to that by-law that outlawed smoking in any commercial space.

Trust me...if I had my way, we wouldn't have smoking rooms...but, I'm not the boss. I don't make those decisions.
