It’s a nice accomplishment regardless of the controversy that surrounds it, it should however have an asterisk next to it but it will be all for not in a few years as he’s just keeping the record warm for A-Rod anyway ;D

This is yet another blight on the saddest of pro sports, baseball.
Why don't we all just jack ourselves full of juice and set all kinds of new records?!?

Woo 756... blah blah blah... I'm glad it's over so we don't have to hear about it anymore.

Did a fan catch this ball? I didn't see this. Because that person once they caught that ball, would have to RUN! If he sells it though, he'll clean up, haha.

I haven't watched SportsCenter so I don't know if they did like the A-Rod thing and interview the guy and stuff but there were like 100 people after that ball and it was getting pretty rough. I hate Barry but I'm glad he hit it last not and not 2 games later against the Pirates!

Even if A-Rod gets 30 homers each year untill he is 40 he still wont have as much as bonds had now. Bonds still has some left in him,

A-Rod is setting a pace for home runs at about 4 years ahead of Bonds' pace. If he keeps up at his current pace (40-ish homers a season) he'll be over 800 before he's 40 years old. Plus he's the best baseball player in the world, so that helps.
