Plus he's the best baseball player in the world, so that helps. I didnt hear Pujols in that sentance at all so your wrong Good try. As much as I hate A-Rod and the Yankees, unfortunately he is right. Alex Rodriguez is the best baseball player in the world. Unless he gets injured he's going to murder the record which is why I'm now cheering for Barry to hit a bunch more so A-Rod can't catch up.

Congrats to Bonds. Baseball never had a rule against 'roids at the time, so too bad.
A-Rod is the best player in baseball and will smash Bonds' record.
Bonds is done after this year. The Giants don't want him back. Nobody else wanted him even for this season, so nobody is going to want him next season. And Bonds will not lower his salary to like $2 million a year so some team will find it worth taking a chance and signing him. Bonds will retire with like 768 homers. The end.

Assuming A-Rod stays healthy, I’d say at about this time in 2015 he’ll be crushing #800 And yes right now he’s the best player in the world.

Congrats to Bonds. Baseball never had a rule against 'roids at the time, so too bad. Why does there have to be a rule against something that is already illegal for it to be illegal? Sorry but that logic is retarded.

I hate Bonds with a passion, but this record isn't as tarnished as people make it out to be. Bonds wasn't the only player to ever use steroids, McGwire, Giambi, Canseco, Palmerio, etc... and they are the only ones we have heard about. I heard numbers as much as 40% of players were on roids in baseball. Now I dont think there was that many, but it is simply because of Bonds attitude he gets ragged on more.
No matter how you look at it, the guy has arguablely the best hand eye co-ordination which I dont think steroids help. He has unbelievable timing and a great swing. The record is really an amazing feat steroids or not. The last couple of seasons he has still been knocking balls out left right and center and there has been steroid testing.
The guy, hate or like him you cant argue he has great talent. Just wish he had a better attitude towards media and fans.

I agree. As much as I hate Bonds this record is simply amazing steroids or not.....unless they're injecting his eyes with the roids I don't see it making a huge difference. You still have to be able to hit the ball well enough to get it out there.

Bonds is a piece of crap plain and simple!
Yeah it doesn't help your eyes but he's never had an issue with hitting the ball that's not even the issue it's simply the power that he all of a sudden had that's where the problem is.
Hank Aaron stills holds the record for me Bonds means nothing unless they take away the homeruns he hit over the few years that he cleary used juice and feeding crap like he didn't know?
Hammerin Hank is still the man and it's a shame that he could lose his record to a no good cheat!
Granted it wasn't in the rule book shame on MLB for that but he never would admit he knowingly took the roids either mean while his clown trainer sits in jails because he refuses to talk? I could list all the reasons why it's obvious that he knowingly took these roids and then lied about it but I think we've all seen the many reasons before.
Long live the Hammer!!!
Screw Baroid!!!

Hank Aaron please. Babe Ruth is the home run king. If he played as long as Aaron and had as many at bats, Ruth has over 1000 dingers. If you're going to argue Bonds isn't the king for whatever reason then it opens up arguements against everyone else.
Bonds has the most homers of all time. Babe Ruth is the best pure home run hitter ever. Hank Aaron in fact doesn't rank first in anything homer related.
Chew on that. ;D

Hank Aaron is a class act!
Barry derserves to be in the HOF based on what he did before he turned into the Incredible Hulk! He knows what he did and he doesn't care but as posted earlier A-Rod is going to take the record from him anyway without the roids at least let's hope not.
