I believe O'Connor is a (late) born in Dec 1990. If so he will be only eligible for the 2009 draft. That will give him three years; this guy will not put to many points on the score sheet but will be very hard to play against. I would compare him to a Rick Green, a defensive defensemen

If the rumors about Matt Stoddard's offseason weight and strength gains are true, it wouldn't surprise me to see him go. He could raise a few eyebrows this season. He raised eyebrows last training camp with us....but unless he goes into high traffic / high contact areas he will not produce at the Q level like he has in midget. And you can't train for that...it takes guts. Seems like a good kid though, I'd like to see him really excel.

Congrats to Doyle, Caron, Cornet, Tessier, Sauve, Poulin and Delmas for making the U-18 team!! Really good Q representation at this tournament, it's too bad the World Jr. team never seems to follow suit.

Actually he didn't shy away from high traffic areas for us, but he didn't jump in either. He has elite level hockey sense and is very capable of being drafted. He's high on my list of things to watch this training camp.
