ANY KIND!!! NO HORNS OUTSIDE 6 and 7 (which happen to be the worst seats in the arena). I agree, boot the season ticket holders who feel like they deserve a morgue instead of an arena

Regarding the horn issue I suggested the "upper bowl only" idea a long time ago and of course it was shot down. Maybe now that David Turk is gone though it might be worth pursuing again.

Well no wonder it was shot down.....aren't you one of those sh*t disturbers ;D?.... seriously though it should be re-visited, having the only horn sections in the corner is WRONG

When you visit any other rink outside the Saint john area all you hear are horns, cow bells, many improvise and come up with some unique noise makers. With all that you have fans having fun and are into the game. Those are the fans who keep coming back for the next game. We have to send the librarians back to the library and get the funmetre going again at the good ole hockey game.

After being discussed last night at the Sea Dogs council meeting, it looks like Sea Dogs management won't budge on this issue. It's section 6 & 7 only. It won't change, we'll have to live with it.
However...when you only have 3500 fans showing up to games, and have empty sections, what difference does it make where people blow horns? As long as your not disturbing your fellow fan, then security shouldn't be nagging you about the horn. As soon as an usher receives a complaint about a horn in a NON HORN section, then that fan should be told to go up to 6 & 7.
It is a bit odd however, that COWBELLS are allowed. Aren't cowbells more annoying than horns?? Anyone know where in the city you can buy cowbells??

Maybe the ushers should start carrying signs like the marshalls/volunteers in a golf tournament "Quiet please, game in progress"
Simply put there is no atmosphere in HS 75% of the time. Unbelievable considering how good this team is. IMO the fans and Sea Dogs are equally responsible for this. We need more people supporting the team and we need something to generate atmosphere in the building.
Well I guess cow bells is the next best option.

Cow bells sound like a good idea. Where can we find some?
