Anyone heard news from the camp at Acadia? I havent seen any articles in the T&T or on Hockeyscene. Also, it was posted on here that Brandon Gormley was injured. Whats the extent of the injury?

I happened to attend three games at the U17 Atlantic try outs and was please on the depth of talent that was on the ice. There defence will be solid and big who ever they choose but was pleasantly please with the play of both Brandon Gormley and Patrick Downe. They were playing on the same team and rarely played together accept on power plays. Patrick maybe a diamond in the ruff. Can't find out much about him but the Cats should be pleased with their picks as they should both be core players if these two keep improving.

DO WHAT YOU DO BEST IS DOWNE'S PHILOSOPHYWOLFVILLE, N.S., August 1, 2008 - Ask Patrick Downe where he wants to be next hockey season and he’ll tell you “on the ice with the Moncton Wildcats” or “on the ice with the Woodstock Slammers” or maybe “on the ice with the Fredericton Canadiens”. One thing’s for sure he’ll be on the ice someplace; giving his all to a game he loves. Full Article:www.hockeyscene.com/hockeyscene/homepage_full_story.jsp?lid=70&nid=3525

Hey guys, I know they don't belong to the Cats' organization, but if you could give me your impression on how Brad MacDonald ant Matt Fortune are doing at camp, it would be appreciated.
