It's getting close to that time again to name the Captain and Assistant Captains. Who do you think will be named the team Captain? What about the Assistants?

Captain - Zach Sill
Assistants - Mark Barberio, Matt Eagles, Jesse Biduke.

C - Sill
A - Eagles, Barberio, Biduke or Cameron

Sill should wear the C ... he is everything that a Captain should be ... just like Gaudet. However ... Eagles is also worthy of the C and has been with the Cats for 3 seasons to Sill's one.
A's should go to Barberio ... one of Eagles or Sill (whichever one isn't wearing C) ... and probably Brannon.
It might be woth it to put an A on Cameron also and see if he takes it seriously ... see if he plays like a leader. If he doesn't ... then strip him of the A to give him a wake up call.
I don't see why Biduke is deserving of an A ... he is not much of a leader out there. Just because he is 20 doesn't get him a letter.

C- Sill A- Barberio, Eagles, third A to be named later I think Sill for C for a lot of reasons...a leader never takes a shift off, Sill was the team MVP and most consistent two way forward ,will do whatever it takes no matter the score...block shots, fight, score. Same reason Gaudet was such a good choice. Like always there are many good candidates but you gotta pick one. I would like to see Barberio for sure with an A and maybe the C next year. I would also like to see a new player named assistant. I don't believe in giving an A because of seniority or age...make the player earn the letter. Some players are still not assistant material despite their experience. |

I would also spell the name Barberio correctly but that's my choice. ;D Sill is a hard worker on the ice but given the reasons he was kicked out of Maine, I'm not sure I'd put him as captain over Eagles who's been here 3 years and has always worked to improve from year to year. Not the example I want to show my rookies. |

I would give Sill the "C"...with or with what happened in Maine...His on ice work ethic..and I have personally heard him talk to his team mates..He is a leader...Just like Christian
I would give Eagles and Barberio the "A"'s One to watch would be Dimitrik...he would also be a great choice...

Carey, the issue of U Maine...I went to school at U Maine and I can tell you that what goes on in the Q is no different than UMaine except the university has different rules for athletes on scholarship. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. This should be a none issue. |

You know those players you hate?
Not the idiots, or the guys who try to injure other teams' players. I mean the guys you hate because they always seem to be on the ice for the other team when bad things happen for your team.
I'd give Zach Sill the C based solely on the fact that he's the only Wildcat I hate.
