I hear that Alexander Fomin should be making his debut tonight as a wildcat. Word is that there should be a mixture of vet and rookies with Rio in net. I can't wait to see what Fomin will do, I hear from the coaches that he has a similarity to Martin Karsum. If that so it can only help ours offense!

Fomin will play on a line with Cameron & Eagles tonight.
Expect to see Barberio - Gormley Jodoin - Savard Boyle - Dimitruk
Wendall Vye will start in nets tonight, not sure if he'll play the full game or split 1/2 of the game.
On a side note, Jordan Lane will also be in the lineup so expect some fights.

He doesn't have to fight but expect Moncton to play more physical when he does play.

On another note about the Euros.. is it Fomin or Famin? I see everyone spelling it Fomin on here, but in the paper it's spelled Famin. Not that it really matters, just curious.

Gormley- played a good game, so calm and poise for a young kid, Gaining confidence with each shift/game. he'll be a star in a year.
Barberio - Great again, prob one of best D's in league.
Cameron - I thought he has a good game, if he plays like that during regular season, I think he'll proove his doubters wrong and have a good year, let's hope he does.
Eagles - All over the ice, another great game by him.
Tremblay & Bissonnette - I thought they played well together, 2 talented kids for sure, Tremblay seems to have a great hands and he could be a 30 goal scorerdown the road if progress continues.
Famin - Thought he had a decent game. He looked lost out there from time to time but it'll come, give him a month or two and IMO he'll be a good player, 1st-2nd line materiel IMO.
Stephens - Better game by far, he's showing improvement each game, hope it continues

Could someone who was at the game give a recap on some of the Moosehead players and the Louis-Seize/Stephens altercation? Thanks in advance.

Petterson and Stephens seems to have played a good offensive game. anyone at the game can give us a recap of the performance from the wildcats player s? IMO Eagles, Sill, Brannon, Barberio had great games. Sasha (FA) seemed to fit well with Sill's line...very aggressive, pretty decent skills as well. PP looked half decent, good puck movement...Barberio and Eagles sniped nice goals on PP. Bissonette (sp?) handles the puck well on the PP. Famin looked good, at least in skill level and competitiveness, good awareness off. and def. Stephens needed a big game IMO and he made a case for himself, even tried to fight at the end of the game...both went down with the Halifax player still swinging. Last few decisions will be tough. Pretty good game, good pace especially the first period with some hugh hits. This will be a fun team to watch, with some rookie mistakes thrown in for sure.

Our home town boy, Alex MacDonald (D) was plus 1 and looked pretty comfortable, saw PK and PP time. Your other Monctonian J. Bernard didn't dress, would have liked to see him play.

Eagles had a hell of a game.. he was all over the ice. Sill and Brannon had some monster hits. Barberio had a good game, be never seems to really have a bad game. I thought Famin looked a bit lost out there at times, but that's to be expected. I think it'll improve once he can start taking English classes and working with a translator. I thought the new guy (61) played good with Sill and Brannon. Again Tremblay showed really good nose for the net. Stephens stepped up and had a good game, which I think he kinda had to do to make a case for him staying here.

Lots of good signs tonight, the Wc had a strong game, especially the 2nd and 3rd.
Eagles was dominant out there forcing the play and using his quickness. Cameron looked faster out there, a good sign for now as he is a key player for the Wc this year.
Famin seems to have poise with the puck and pretty good hands, my concern with him is he is not very big nor super fast, hopefully he has a bigger impact than Bezak. Jury is very much still out.
Stephens finally showed something, the final cuts will be pretty tough, I don't really see anybody that doesn't belong. Lane obviously is not as skilled as the others but he brings a presence.
The defense looked pretty good for the most part, Vye was solid without being great.
