Lane was pretty rough with the linesman after that fight. I could see a suspension resulting from that. They didn't give him the "aggressor" and that is usually what comes from getting rough with the linesman while trying to get at the opponent. I thought he was pretty close to getting an aggressor penalty. The aggressor is called when the player tries to fight the player after the linesman come in. If you are rough housing the linesman, it is a match penalty anytime.

He cant help being bigger than the lines man since there only 5 feet tall to him, but other than that theres no suspensins yet on the Q site which means there wont be any probably, its usually announced 3-4 dayws later

Lane was just trying to get at the player ... not trying to rough up the linesman ... and thats the way the Refs saw it too.

A Match penalty is for attempt to injure (ie; biting, headbutting, spearing or butt ending) www.lhjmq.qc.ca/navcache/getcontents.php?currentpath=/root/Registrariat/CodesPunitions_200708_20070913_fr_ang.pdf
