CHL Announces Mosaik MasterCard Top Ten Rankings Wednesday-September 24, 2008 By: Canadian Hockey League
The Canadian Hockey League today announced the CHL Mosaik MasterCard Top 10 Rankings for this week. The weekly rankings of the Canadian Hockey League’s Top 10 are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.
CHL Mosaik MasterCard Top-10 Rankings – Week 2
1. Windsor Spitfires (2-0-0-0) 2. Cape Breton Screaming Eagles (5-0-0-0) 3. Brandon Wheat Kings (2-0-0-0) 4. Belleville Bulls (1-0-0-0) 5. London Knights (2-1-0-0) 6. Moncton Wildcats (4-0-0-0) 7. Swift Current Broncos (2-0-0-0) 8. Prince George Cougars (2-0-0-0) 9. Spokane Chiefs (1-1-0-0) 10. Drummondville Voltigeurs (4-0-0-0)

What the...do they know something we don't? The team is much better but a little early for the banners. Maybe the top ten should be the "top ten performing teams" this week in the CHL...an award they deserve. Oh well, we'll take for what it's not worth.

Usually top 3 performing teams from each of the three leagues each week plus one extra.

Belleville only played 1 game and are ranked 4th ;D

Belleville only played 1 game and are ranked 4th ;D Don't forget that both Spokane (1-1) and London (2-1) have both lost a game and are still ranked in the top 10. Both higher than Drummondville (4-0). Must be that they expect great things from them or every other team in the O or W is doing worse??

I would imagine these are heavily based on the pre-season rankings, with the exception being that if a team has one or more losses at this point in the season, they fall and are replaced by other teams in their league who are off to good starts ...
