Eagles - The only Cat left from Memerial Cup Year.I think he's a lock to begin & finish his career with the Wildcats... Sill - Same as Eagles, I'm pretty sure he'll be with the team all year unless Flynn gets an offer he can't refuse, can't see that happening Biduke - I gotta give him credit, lost 10-15 lbs during the summer, improved his skating but still is a poor skater. Has good hands around the net. Good PP guy Lahey - OHL Castoff, former 1st round pick. Scored a nice goal setup by Eagles in his 1st game. Seemed lost out there from time to time but did show he could play physical and get in front of the net. Tough Call for Flynn PS I appologize to Jesse Biduke for not spelling his name right in the Poll

After seeing Lahey play for just one game it is still way to early to tell. But look at Flynn trading one away. Which one he does is not necessarily who he does not want anymore out of the four, but could be decided on what he gets as offers. Time will tell.

Way too early to decide. Biduke played 2 games this year, and Lahey 1. Give it at least until Biduke comes back. We have until Nov. 10.

who says we have to cut a 20...can't we keep 4 of the ol'farts (haha) on the roster, and only dress 3 a night. They are older and potentially more brittle.

My guess is if Lahey can turn out to be as good as Bidduke ,we might see Bidduke gone, reason i,m saying this is Bidduke is more well Known around the league than Lahey, not sure alot of teams would trade for a guy they,ve never seen before :-/just my thought

They're 20's, and both of them are relatively unknown accross the league. I mean Lavigne actually played a whole season here and look what we got for him. Although we knew he was very good goaltender, and worth more (in terms of value) then what we did get, that's what we ended up with. If we trade Biduke and get anything better then a 5th round pick, I'll be very pleasantly surprised.

I think a guy like Biduke(or the new guy if he does well over the next month) COULD be worth as much as a 3rd or 4th. I think both have a shot at scoring 30(or at least Biduke) in the Q and there are 3-4 teams taht could look for a pretty cheap upgrade. Lavigne was a goalie and a back up at that, guys like Biduke and Leahy will get top 6 ice time until Sill comes back.

Lavigne saw some long stretches of playing time last year and you would have thought that other teams' scouts would have caught on. Anyways. If we get a 3rd for Biduke, I'll be estatic. I could see it potentially happening, but I really don't believe it will. I see the odds are better for the Cats to cut one and keep the better one. I would prefer the Wildcats keep their good players and setup for what will be hopefully a long playoff run, then trade off for mid-round picks. There's enough depth and youth, and the fact that we already have a lot of draft picks for this summer's draft looks good.

For what he played last year and the fact he was going to be 20, I thought they did great for Lavigne. I don't see Biduke being traded, but that could change over the next month. From what I have seen, Biduke is more physical and grittier than the new guy, but again, it's still early.

I thought Lahey played not bad concidering hes a 20 yr old rookie to the league, it'll take a couple of games to get used to the adjustment from OHL to QMJHL, hes a 1st rd pick so he must be good for something if he stays healthy

What round was Biduke taken in the OHL?? Biduke was drafted 2nd rd 39th overall by Oshawa, traded to Ottawa in 06 for a 4th rd pick. so Lahey and Biduke were teamates in 06-07 till biduke came here.

I think you will see them all stay until Christmas and with Biduke hurt, Sill hurt, and Lahey and Eagles prone to injury, they can keep them all till Christmas and play the ones most ready to show up. After Christmas what would happen would be whatever is best for the Wildcats at that time.
