Cats host the Rocket. Second meeting between these two teams in the past week. Cats walked out of the CCC last Wednesday night with a 3-2 victory.

I think the Cats will put in the effort they showed for about 1/2 of the Halifax game (the good effort, not the lack thereof....) and come out with a 5-1 or 5-2 win. As others have pointed out, this team is due to snap out of their funk.
A few things I would like to see:
1. Try some different forwards in the PP. The current unit is not getting it done.
2. When our defencemen have possession of the puck before a line change, either behind the net or in our own zone (with no pressure on them), why not complete the line changes and then get the play started, rather than dump the puck in, with one player chasing it and the rest peeling off for a change? There must be some logic to this, but as purely a fan who has never played the game, I would like to hear a coach or knowledgeable fan's explanation for this.
3. We're not coming into the offensive zone with speed nearly as often as earlier in the year. Just an observation, see point #2. Our offense looks a lot more like last year's team lately.

where is STEPHENS is he hurt? I don't know if he's hurt, but I wouldn't be shocked if was Healthy Scratch... Cats played a really good 1st period. Should have been up by 3 or 4 after 1st. Played an above average 2nd and below average 3rd. Team still isn't playing a full 60 minutes yet Nadeau had a rough start but played very well after that. Go Cats Go

They really need to flood the ice sooner during the intermission, especially if they only have one zamboni in service. The play was incredibly scrambly early in the 2nd with the slippery ice, I would have hated for either team to score a fluke goal because of it and have that determine the outcome of a close game.
