ALTHOUGH, I must say, watching today's game, that the Wildcats have a huge problem physically....much like Drummondville. However Drummondville has more speed than the Cats. Hmm, huge problem physically? We hit anything that moved (Joly is going to have a few bruises courtesy of Scott Brannon) and were able to have some long stretches of cycling the puck. Are we a team of guys that are 6'2" or 6'3"? No. But I never thought size or toughness was an issue for us in today's game. Care to share some examples where physical play was a weakness for the Cats?

Anybody remember what the what the punishment is for two fights in the same night? 2nd fight is a game expulsion penalty. 3 of those, is an auto 1 game suspension. A fight in the final 5 minutes is also a game, so it's possible to pick up a double-game if the 2nd fight is within that time frame.

That's comical...chsb desperately fishing for any pimples on the Cats great record. What will he say next, that the new team bus will distract them? It's funny that he mentions the Cats having problems physically when they are the most physical and best defensively of all the contenders. ;D

Worden found out in his second scrap who the real tough guy on the Cats is - Boyle pummelled him pretty good.
The Cats are one of the most physical teams in the league on the forecheck, our defense plays more a positional game than a physical one, but I don't really find any of them get pushed around. Credit to the Titan who were also very physical, big team ... very physical game IMO.

We decided to loan them to you for the rest of the season.

Does anyone know why that Cats goal in the 3rd period didn't count? The ref clearly blew the whistle after the puck went into the net so I honestly have no clue why the goal didn't stand. No matter though since that seemed to fire up the team and the crowd along with the dumb penalty by Frechette which led to the winning goal.

No matter though since that seemed to fire up the team and the crowd along with the dumb penalty by Frechette which led to the winning goal. The Ref blew the whistle because in his opinion the puck was frozen ... or at least out of his sight. When he blew the whistle he did not make a signal on the goal (goal or not goal) ... he put his arms up in the air to signify that puck was frozen ... or that the net had been knocked off ... you'll have to ask him exactly why he blew the whistle. I can't tell you if the puck went in the net before or after the whistle ... but the Ref was blowing the whistle for a reason other than a goal. He then skated a few feet to the faceoff circle and signified no goal ... about 7 or 8 seconds after the whistle. Once he waived off the goal anything further was pointless. My understanding is that the Q's video review does not also include audio review ... so determining if the puck went in the net before or after the whistle is not an option. I don't think there was any doubt the puck was in the net so a video review wasn't necessary.
