puck was in before whistle was blown. I'm not saying you are wrong ... but just because you say it doesn't make it true.

Thanks, I suck at pronouncing some names. How was the fight between Lane and Warden? Worden hit the big p***y about 10 times to his 1. Of course, the next thing Billy will say was Worden was holding on to him, but you'd think someone that is so big and strong they strike the ever loving fear of god into all players in the Q would be able to get loose. I find that really funny when Worden is inserted into play. Lane had played a shift, made an assist and stays on the ice. Worden is now inserted fresh off the bench to fight with Lane. Obviously Lane is going to be tired. He hustled for more than a minute straight and Worden just comes off fresh and ready to fight. The same thing happened in their very first fight in the beginning of the year. Lane played a shift and stayed on for the next shift while Bathurst made a line change and Worden and Lane went at it from the whistle. If you ask me Lane won that fight and this one also. Lane has also never back down from anybody. What would be the point of getting rid of him. He does his job very well. The other thing most fans are not thinking about is injury and suspensions. What if Boyle gets injured or suspended 5 games. We need a guy like Lane. Whenever Lane is on the ice most fans are actually focusing on him cause they know fight might break out at any point. Considering that fighting is down throughout the league Moncton has had its fair share of fights. And many of them have been with Lane.

I don't mind having Lane in the lineup but NO way did he win that fight. Worden may have been more rested but he got the decisive win. IMO

Worden found out in his second scrap who the real tough guy on the Cats is - Boyle pummelled him pretty good. The Cats are one of the most physical teams in the league on the forecheck, our defense plays more a positional game than a physical one, but I don't really find any of them get pushed around. Credit to the Titan who were also very physical, big team ... very physical game IMO. Boyle didn't really pound him...he landed 1 hard shot at the end that knocked down Worden.Pretty bad though that Lane lost the Worden once again....the same Worden who can't even beat Mike Thomas ....gotta give credit to Lane for being willing but is he ever gonna win a fight? You know the league is pussified when Matt Boyle wins 90 % of his fights.....

Does anyone know why that Cats goal in the 3rd period didn't count? The ref clearly blew the whistle after the puck went into the net so I honestly have no clue why the goal didn't stand. No matter though since that seemed to fire up the team and the crowd along with the dumb penalty by Frechette which led to the winning goal. The Ref blew the whistle because in his opinion the puck was frozen ... or at least out of his sight. When he blew the whistle he did not make a signal on the goal (goal or not goal) ... he put his arms up in the air to signify that puck was frozen ... or that the net had been knocked off ... you'll have to ask him exactly why he blew the whistle. I can't tell you if the puck went in the net before or after the whistle ... but the Ref was blowing the whistle for a reason other than a goal. He then skated a few feet to the faceoff circle and signified no goal ... about 7 or 8 seconds after the whistle. Once he waived off the goal anything further was pointless. My understanding is that the Q's video review does not also include audio review ... so determining if the puck went in the net before or after the whistle is not an option. I don't think there was any doubt the puck was in the net so a video review wasn't necessary. I had a pretty good view and from what I saw the puck went in the net and then he blew the whistle and put his arms up in the air. Now technically on a play like that it's not necessarily when the referee blows his whistle but when he intends to blow it. I suppose he intended to blow it before the puck went into the net. Was it MacAuslund that eventually put that in? If so I think the goal was disallowed because of an official QMJHL rule that prevents him from scoring another goal this season Speaking of video review I was also wondering if they actually have a good camera angle to determine if a goal was scored by a high stick or not. Something is telling me they don't and whatever the ref initially called on the Jezegou goal was going to stand.
