I think CB will clearly be on that "going for it" list before this is all over. If we're not already after the Ward for Finn deal.

To me the Ward-Finn deal is minor, I would argue that the net effect of that trade and the Gouchie trade nearly evens itself out. From a purely hockey standpoint, Gouchie is a notch above MacDougall. If Cb is serious about going for it, they need a true 1st pair d-man.

I think MacDougall will suprise. Not a fan of that deal, but it seemed to be a move to bring more size which we lack. Horyl could end up getting Gouchie's ice time and from what i'm hearing is a great 2 way player who turned down an NCAA scholarship to stay close to home.

Billy suggested CB need another top player to be a contender, and not only did jackbauer agree, but he didnt start going on and on about Lewy winning it in 2007 etc. Refreshing change, usually when people suggest this to some Moncton fans they pull out the history books i keed i keed

Without being great in nets or up front, I think you guys are strong enough in those areas to compete with most top teams. As you said you may need 2 top(non 20) d-men...or at least one impact one in the MA Bourdon mold.

SJ selling .... My money is on yes they will be selling not expecting alot until next week though. JB has mentioned that he expects the majority of his dealings to happen closer to the end of the trading period .... testing the waters I guess

With the amount of 20's around, I can't see any one of them getting a big pay out. I think some teams may be left holding the bag, BC and Bathurst will be panicking soon.
