Sweet! Yes...they better make sure there's more than fish wire holding up that new clock, and that there's people who know how to properly operate it. Maybe they said that on purpose on the radio so when people get there in Aug/Sept and see the new clock they'll all be impressed with the speed and efficiency of C200 staff/CBRM workers.

I heard a rumour that they will only have the washrooms done for this season but it's probably just a load of BS.

The old clock is out of the building. I was there Sunday and there is no clock in the building now.
There have been men in from Quebec fixing the hardware for the new clock this past month.
I hear the new clock may be coming in this week.

The new scoreboard will be in place for the opening of the season. It weighs 3-4 times the old clock and some structural work had to be done to support the system.

Maybe it will be up and running for Training Camp ! This willl give us something to look at ................because if the "No Fight" rule is in place then it might be more exciting than the Hockey ! ;D

everyone will be looking up there for replays and stuff moreso than some of the games...hah.... hope people know how to properly use it (unlike the CBU/NSCC sign that never seems to work)

I think key words here Jack are "as long as". Too many games had very low tempo and limited intensity.

That being said, the 1997 training camp was one of my favourite displays of hockey ever! I remember one intrasquad game at the Canada Games Complex, there were 11 fights. Alain Turcotte fought four times, and may well have cemented his spot on the team that night alone. There was also a guy at camp that year, I think his name was Benoit Lalonde, who fought in pretty much every intrasquad game - usually multiple times. That year there were fights in practice drills! Guys would be going around the pylons, sharpening their skills....... then two guys would end the drill by winding up in the corner at the same time.......... they'd accidentally bump into each other.......... annoyed glances would be followed by a bit of chatter......... next would come a couple shoves.......... then the gloves would come off! I agree with hal, those were the days. ;D
