I was wondering if he attended Pittsburgh's Rookie Camp and if so how did he do ? The Sea Dogs Board said that Depres and Grant had good showings .

Now that you mention it, I don't recall seeing his name anywhere. I seen Grant, Despres, Petersen, and Sill plus the usual top prospects but nothing of Haddad.

This excerpt from an article seems to clear it up.
Of the 26 players who attended camp, 25 participated in the on-ice training while 20-year-old forward Haddad was present for the instructional sessions but could not partake in the on-ice activities due to off-season knee surgery.

I hope he can make Wilkes-Barre. A good 2-3 years in the minors and he could potentially make the jump.

It seems to me like the Pens organization, more so than other organizations, moves players up at a rapid rate. Seems like they give rookies more of a chance than other teams. I can totally see him making the AHL as a 3rd or 4th liner.
What about Slaney? Think he'll crack the Marlies?

And Pittsburgh, like every team, moves players up as they perform. Not sure what you mean by giving more of a chance then other teams, as every team needs to utilize it's AHL team in a cap system.
