There seems to be a trend forming where some players who go to these under camps come back and under preform for their regular teams with the Moose last year Randell attended on of these camps and he had a horrible 1st half of the season, now it appears to be the same thing for Desjardins and I think Duffy is the same just to name a few, anybody have any reasons why this occurs ?

This salvation army $21 charitable donation program could be causing Desjardins to hold the stick too tight, I don't know.
I find the above statement to be somewhat of a coincidence, just like how all four NHL coaches that opened the season in Europe last year were canned throughout the year. I'm also not sure if you are saying Randell had a horrible first half last year based of lack of offensive numbers or what, so I can't comment on that as if my speculation is correct, well that just isn't his game.

I don't think Under 17 or 18 or whatever camps have much to do with it. I think it's more the old "sophomore slump" or jinx. Many of these players are high draft picks with a lot of potential, but with that comes high expectations and pressure. People expect them to do more then they're capable of and expect them to put up huge numbers are lead their respective teams, all at the rip old age of 17 and 18. At that stage they're still learning, growing and improving. Some do break out (look at Michael Bournival this year) and others take a bit more time. Also their playing with players in their same age group at these camps and tournaments. There's a big difference between playing against teams of 16 and 17 yrs olds, and then turning around and going to your junior team and playing against 18, 19, 20yr olds.

Randell was trying too hard and so are the others after going to a top level camp with National Programs and in Randell's case I was sure he added too much weight on those extra muscles..Looks leaner this season...
