I think Ottawa has finally found a good goalie in ex Moosehead Pascal Leclaire to make us a team for a playoff run and maybe even make us Stanley cup Champs dare I say it....its been 10 years or more since Ottawa had a goalie this good that is consistent like Alfie just said on the CBC interview he has their confidence now something that hasn't happened in a long time!!!
2-1 Sens over Montreal Kovalev with an assist on the 2nd goal hope we can hang on!!!!

Before thinking of a playoff run they'll have to make the playoffs. They needed a goalie 5-6 years ago when they had a team. Right now their team is average at best.

I think were more than average Pal have u checked out our top two lines
Alfreddsson-Spezza-Cheechoo-Michalek(who has been red hot lately)-Kovalev(starting to come on) and Leclaire is the real deal he is staying healthy this year!!!

Ottawa is probly the biggest under god in the NHL.. no one beleives that they can do anything but now with Heatley gone and all that trouble out of the way.. they are playing as a team.. no individual play and i hope that they can make the playoffs and maybe even make a run for it.. never count them out..
If Leclaire stays healty i think that they can really make a push for it and make the playoffs to prove all the critics wrong and show them who is boss.. so far Ottawa is the Canadian team that is playing the best.. hopefully they can continue their strong play

The only thing going for Ottawa is playing in the worst division in the league, but even then I bet by the end of the year they're no better then 12th overall in the league which makes you an average team. Good luck waiting for Kovalev to come on with a consistant work ethic....there's still people in Montreal waiting for that to happen.

Anyone eating there words yet I think so were almost into Nov and Leclaire is still Healthy he is the reason the Sens got a point tonight he held them in it in the 2nd and after it was 3-0 in the first there team has fight they fought back 3 times in this game to tie it if not for the poor officating in OT give Carkner a stupid penalty they should only call something that is really dangerous or someone is bleeding in OT, save the weak calls for regulation but they even said on Sportsnet East that Leclaire is the reason the Sens even got a point tonight they finally have a goalie they can have confidence in!!!!WTG Leclaire and WTG Sens!!!!

People don't usually eat their words in late October. That sort of thing is saved until April, if at all in this case.

Fischer belongs on a 3rd line and Cheechoo unless he has a big bounce back is not a huge asset on the 2nd line. I'm not saying they won't make the playoffs, but their skaters are not what they were 4-5 years ago when goaltending sunk them. Leclaire if he stays healthy should help them make the playoffs as a #7-8 seed, after that I don't see them being close to Pittsburgh Phillie Washington.

Cheechoo isn't playing on the 2nd line... he gets some shifts with them but he actually gets less icetime than almost every other player on the roster

Yeah if in two weeks Leclaire goes down with a groin injury and misses 2 months... nobody will remember him being healthy for a month lol
