That is really the best move for Alex Mac Donald he will play himself back into playing shape and maybe at Christmas time will get traded...Best of luck to him ..He was a very nice young fellow talked to him a few times in his walking the top of rink ..

If he can't cut it in Halifax he probably won't get to play anywhere else.

Expect to see MacDonald traded when the trade period opens. I have a pretty good source that says a deal has been done since October.. He has known where he was going since then. I cant confirm location but best guess based on his age and the status of the clubs (ie rebuilding vs going for it) I would say you will see him in a Bathurst uniform after Christmas.
It may be another team, im only guessing Bathurst, but I am 100% certain he has a trade already to another team lined up/waiting for trade period to confirm..
Not a big deal(aka Blockbuster) but I thought worth a mention

I read earlier he may be the compensation for putting Dimitruk on waivers

I read earlier he may be the compensation for putting Dimitruk on waivers I have heard that also ... but he will not be a roster player for the Wildcats ... he will stay in the MJAHL and just be used as an AP. Obviously he'd be given the chance to make the team next year. Just a rumour at this point.
