Yeah I noticed that tonight someone said they had him down as 74 and last night he was 3 they prob just don't have his number picked yet since he's only been with the team a few weeks, Great games by the boys this weekend and for the statement, 3 in 4 nights they played 9 full periods of hockey and never missed a beat and never quit after this weekend this team has me real excited about the future; I bet they keep this up and we may just squeak into the last playoff spot!!! Go Moose Go win number 3 vs Shawingan!!!

Another great game, good efforts all around. Really has been the story since the beginning of the year, only now we're finally seeing results out of it. Obviously Corbeil has stepped up his game enourmously so that helps, but overall we've been playing decent hockey and in most games this year. We're just now getting some confidence and winning some of them.
Secondary scoring again was a key. Hopefully that keeps up. If we can only get Jesskyo Bernard back in the line-up and get him in on some of this that would be even better. A lot of guys are stepping up right now and that's good to see, but I still say we need Bernard's combination of size and skill in the line-up and producing this season. Hope he gets back in soon and kicks it up with the rest of them.
Not to take anything anyway from the last 2 games, the team played great, but we won't be able to rely on Corbeil to play like that all the time and lean on him the way we did. He played outstanding, but the reasons he did was because he stopped a ton of point blank chances, breakaways, chances off turnover, rebounds etc. You give teams chances like that, more often then not you're going to be fishing the puck out of your net. Things still need to be tightened up a bit, and we've got to take care of the puck. Friday night I didn't find turnovers to be a big problem, but last night we gave up way too many. They didn't come back to bite us because Corbeil was unbelievable, but percentages will say that goalies can only bail out their team so many times without giving up some goals. We should enjoy it while we can, but work remains.
