Bobby's been shopping them around to 3 groups. Steele family, Harold McKay group and an undetermined group.
Go Halifax Steelers!

There is truth to this. Reportedly will sell the team if he gets $5 million.

5 MILLION you say, then it truly is not for sale, he only holds 64% of the shares which it was reported at a cost of 3.4 Million. I have a house that should sell for about $225, 000 it is not for sale but if somebody offered me $ 400,000. I would sell it however Smith and I both no that neither deal has that kind of value at this time.

I think Bobby's only intentions were to buy a team, win a championship, then sell at a healthy profit. Only he was his own worst enemy, didn't win, turned off a good number of fans, and now has to clean up a mess he helped create. I guess if someone wanted to own a team bad enough and had the cash they'd bite the bullett and pay his price but with the way things are looking around the division I think i'd rather invest in GM then buy a Q team right now.

They were in a second year of rebuilding when the owners bailed and sold.

That is exactly what would equate to the rumored 5 MILLION that Smith is asking, in other words 64% of 7.8 million is 4,999,000. I don't know the Kamloops situation but two years ago the economy was a lot healthier than it is today and like JB states its not a great time to buy a 'Q' team let alone overpaid for it.
