I was critical of his play earlier but has he ever changed my mind and it actually started for me when he played two outstanding games one in Quebec City ( 3-2 loss) and Saint John (3-2 loss) both games the deciding goal was scored late in the 3rd period against two strong teams. But his performance last night and tonight where he looked like a top notch major junior goalie, out at the top of the paint, making the shooter make the first move and his rebound control has improved all of these things have given him a lot of confidence and it is showing. Matt keep up the great work and remember Halifax fans want you to succeed and I think you could feel it from the excitement when you got named the first star for the second straight night. GO-MATT-GO and GO -MOOSE-GO.

Corbeil's play the last two games at the MC is the best goaltending we have had since Jeremy Duchesne.

Matt Corbeil is the real thing and he is showing why the Moose have so much faith in him..He and this young team will be some great to watch for the next few seasons ..I can see Corbeil being the main backstop for Team Canada Juniors in afew seasons..I also see him in NHL too...

WOW Do I ever he was so happy tonight and the crowd went nuts he's quickly becoming a fan favorite in Halifax and he is the best goalie we've had since Jeremy Duchesne we can go far with him manning the pipes in the next few seasons!!!

Everyone seems pretty quick to jump on the Corbeil bandwagon here...Sure he played a FEW good games but I won't be convinced until he starts showing some consistency!

Isn't he already 18? So it is next year or never for Team Canada ... I wouldn't bet the farm ...

RMD if you have been following this team you would not make that statement they lost only 12 games by less than two goals and it was not the goalies it was learning to play defense and back check and forcheck and cover up in your own end and when to check a guy etc..But the last two weeks the boys have been coming around and the last two games we got to see the best of them so far this season..Please give some credit it sure does go a long way ...
