Corbeil is 18, and will be eligible for the 2010 draft. He just missed 2009 eligibilty. Figures- I typed my response without bothering to look up his birthdate, assuming he got passed over last draft... well he keeps this up, he's making a case for a team to take a chance on him. Well it's a good assumption! The Moose staff during training camp always mess with my head with the incorrect ages on the lineup card. They had Corbeil as 16 when he came to camp for the first time even though he was 15 for another 6 weeks. I changed it to 15 while sitting next to a women that turned out to be his Mother. She was surprised the fans were smarter than the organization On another note, big congratulations to him! Well deserved with three stellar performances.

All 1991's would have been listed as 16's, regardless of whether they'd actually reached their 16th birthday.

You've followed the league long enough to know how the ages work...one would hope anyway.

Teams don't care if a kid is 15 or 21, all that matters is the year he was born.

They never differentiate between hockey age and true age. I've seen instances where the hockey age are incorrect but the true age is correct.

Because common sense would tell you that they are hockey ages...like they have been for the last 40 years the QMJHL has been in operation...

Common sense would be to state which method of age they are using for fans that wouldn't know any better. As I stated they are wishy washy in the ages anyways whichever way they go. Unless you actually create and photocopy the Mooseheads exhibition lineups yourself I'd suspect you know where I'm coming from.

"They had Corbeil as 16 when he came to camp for the first time" is exactly what you said which obviously means you don't understand why they put 16 instead of 15.
