LinkCongrats to him. He definitely deserves it. He's the MVP of this 4 game winning streak in my opinion.

Congrats Matt, also congrats to Brad McCharles Matt's goaltending coach who has worked with both goalies to improve their on ice performance. Congrats, also to Russell who has put together a solid coaching team which includes newcomers McCharles and Algee. It is worthy of note that while our defensive side of allowing 4 goals in four games is outstanding also the fact the we scored 16 goals over the same four games is equally significant, good job by all GO-MOOSE-GO

Congrats to Corbeil for winning this award in back-to-back weeks! And I agree with sharrow that kudos also have to go out to Brad MacCharles for his role in helping Corbeil become a better goalie.

I wonder what chsb thinks about Corbeil leapfrogging Champion in the goalie rankings, despite playing on the worst team in the league.

Like Freddy said it is great to get some recognition for this team after our wholeful start.
In his last four games to have a save percentage of .970 is just crazy. I love his confidence and they way he has bailed the boys out when needed. I actually think he had tougher chances the first weekend then this past one as we allowed fewer clear/partial breaks.
I too think the goaltender coach deserves some credit as Corbeil seems to have made great improvement since the start of the year.
Well done Mathieu!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice to see the fans appreciating the boys hard work I have never seen the Metro Center as loud as it has been the last 2 weekends and standing ovations all 4 wins, the team has their appreciative stick wave normally reserved for the end of the season and now were winning their coming back...Good Luck in Quebec guys man two such good weekends of hockey I can't wait for them to get home again!!!(next stand 6 outta 7 at home)
