Mullethead will probably have a no fight rule in place also ! I wonder what George Davis and Hunter LaHache would do if they had to conform to that crap ? Davis made the Team because of his waltzes with Hunter .

Rookies ;D Gonna be lots of those in Cape Breton this season. How do you figure? We have 14 players returning. They aren't impact players but there won't be to many "rookies" on the roster next season.

Check to see how many of those so called 14 returning players have played any quality time, in terms of actual minutes, power play and penalty killing minutes, and last few minutes of a close game, at all. Players that were call ups and dressed a few games where they hardly played are still rookies really!
I personally hope there are several new faces to help change the me first attitude and the work ethic that we saw last year!

The fact of the matter is they are not rookies any longer. They are 2nd year players.

Art, you can have a 3rd year non impact player just as well.
In a "real hockey sense", several of these 14 returning players are the equivalent of rookies.
C 16 Parker, Nick 8 0 1 1 4 D 24 Herrett, Wes 2 0 0 0 0 D 24 Larade, Derek 7 0 0 0 0
But have it your way, by all means.

Ok but when you look at the Q media guide at the start of next season. You can see if their still rookies. Thats the point I'm making. I know what your saying and agree.

I think Alex will carry the ball very well this year, I mean seeing him play in Halifax last year He was quite stellar, Even in the game against Moncton when he recorded his first Q shutout against Nic Riopel and the future Q champs, I believe Alex will play as a Rookie but more like a returning Vet.

I really liked Verroneau from the very beginning. I wish him all the luck in the world however, I know that Pavs when he got the chance or Olivier as a 16 year old rookie did not begin their very successful Eagle careers with such an inexperienced D, no matter how many returning defence Mario alludes to having.
The team could use a quality 20 year old and a Euro with potential on defence, nevermind the BS anymore about 2012!

That is quite a few.

If a team is developing players and a competetive team, then bringing in 6-9 players is normal. You would lose your 3 20 year olds, not be able to return a couple of 19 year olds because of age, and have 2-3 players move on to pro. There's your turn over. Not every team is able to do that, but it is not out of the norm!
