As of now, the Rocket have a solid group of 17yr olds.
Chris Doyle Jordon Southorn Alan Clow Danick Malouin Parker Deighan Evan Mosher Jan Kana
IMO, thats a solid group of '90 born players, which should be good news for this team.
Add in recent ('91) draftees, Brandon Maclean and Brandon Street....and you get a pretty good young core of players

Clow played in the Camp Gencheff charity game last night with the likes of Adam McQuaid, Nathan Saunders and Nathan McIver, and he looked as good or better than all of them. Of course there was no body contact, but very smart player. He showed his offensive skill too. Not the same type as Grags though....he just does things that increase his forwards offensive chances. Couple of nice carries and smart dishes.
Doyle had a really solid scrimmage with Team Canada last night. Thats great news!! 3 points

Yeah he has. I would say hes approaching 180 now. I also heard that Doyle is about 208 right now. Thats heavy for a 17 year old. Hope that does not slow him down.

If it is too heavy for him, they can work with him to get his weight down to an ideal playing weight. One person that I waiting to see what kind of shape they are in for training camp is Walker. I found that his game picked up after he starting losing the weight during last season, hopefully he was able to keep it up in the off-season.
A bit of a side note for the Camp Gencheff charity game, I was a bit surprised that there wasn't more of a PEI Rocket presence with their local players such as Walker, Paynter, Snowie, etc. I could hear a few people around me making comments wondering why the Rocket were not more involved in the game considering there were a few Q players in the game.
