8-5 Moose...
Cliche just got the hatty....
Despite the poor start, good to see the boys battle back a bit and not roll over.

Wouldn't sweat it to much Rocket fans looks like the Moose have most of their top guys minus the 2 Euro's in the line up tough start for a 16 yr old goaltender. PEI had a very veteran lineup in as well, including their #1 goalie. Of the 20 players, 15-16 will likely make the Rocket this season, including all 6 dmen...I wouldnt say PEI dressed a B team.

PEI had a very veteran lineup in as well, including their #1 goalie. After 6 goals got by Waye..... Halifax completely outplayed PEI...Waye did allow about 5 soft goals but still lol Its pre-season though so who really cares about the outcome...both teams had their fair share of vets playing...

Love to know how the following players played: Kana Cliche(besides his hatty) MacLean Street Clow Thanks Kana....besides his knee on knee hit on BOD i liked his game...came as advertised although he doesnt seem to be a big time skill player, but he has more than enough. Cliche...didnt notice him much...i looked at the box score and was shocked he put 3 in... MacLean...didnt look good but didnt look bad...his penalty shot goal was a nice wirster top glove. Street...had a couple nice rushes but he was getting eatin alive on the draw...showed flashes...which is all you can expect from 16 year olds. Clow....didnt look good at all...its been a year since ive seen him, he looks much bigger than he did at 15...filled in. Has good upside but didnt have a great game.

Slight edge to O'Donnell MacAskill completely layed out Morrison with a clean hit and that is what led to the melee. Desroches went after MacAskill and everyone else paired up. With about 3 mins left in the game, Walker went up to MacAskill and was kind of talking in his ear and the linesmen had to seperate them. Next whistle Pender goes out there and hounds Walker for a good 30 seconds...apparently Walker is a selective tough guy Main is going to piss off a lot of eastern division fans LOL...Much like he did to Telus division fans. Hes a hit from behind machine and he doesnt back it up...which is pretty much what he did in Midget so no surprise there.

Thats not good at all we need a fighter not a guy thats gonna throw dirty hits. Not going to get us any where The foggie devils are pretty dirty tough team going to need some scrapers for them games paynter is a good fighter but he will not be able to handle the bigger guys.

After this game, I think we can say that Mosher is going to keep his spot...

After this game, I think we can say that Mosher is going to keep his spot... Was there really any doubt? LOL so true...Waye has some upside but hes way over his head at this level, even more so than what Mosher was this time last year. Waye needs a lot of work basically...but he has potential.

Waye needs a lot of work basically...but he has potential. Im a fan of Mosher, and think that he'll be a decent #1 in this league......at 19/20. I felt that when we got him at the draft when we did, we really got a great tender at a mid/late rd.....5th i believe?? Mosher will be a good backup this season for Lafleur, and depending on what happens next season with Lafleur, he should be our #1 next season.........However, if Savard thinks we could contend next season he may look for a more experienced netminder, and have Mosher take the reins at 19. Who knows.......but either way, I like Mosher and am happy with the Lafleur/Mosher tandem.
