Good for Piche.
Kid does have some skill, and perhaps he'll get a better chance to crack a QMJHL lineup this season.

I really like Piche's skill and game and think he is good enough to play in the league.
The only disadvantage that I saw from Piche is that I didn't think he could produce enough offense to justify playing him ahead of guys pencilled in on our top 3 lines and his game wasn't really suited for the 4th.
Hopefully he earns a regular spot in Shawinigan and am really happy the Rocket allow him an opportunity elsewhere since we didn't have the Room. Plus a 6th round pick also sounds like great value for a former 8th who wasn't expected to make our team.

This is a good opportunity for Piche. We've got a lot of the small, fast forward type - Paynter, Coon-Come, maybe DesRoches now too.
He was sort of the odd man out.

Really glad to read good thoughts on Piché. It is a very fair price for this type of offense player we needed to add, since Paré's departure. I also know he will fit in the team's chemistry real quick, he knows a few guys on our roster, especially our first round pick, C-O Roussel.
