Heard that Brad Smith was not offered a card from the Wildcats and will be placed on waivers.
Smith is a 19yr old.

Would Smith be a player the Rocekt would be interested in?

How would you compare him to Schmidt?
He has 40pts in 42gms last season with S'Side.....while playing some time up with Moncton.

If the Rocket would have had interest in Smith, they could have went out and gotten him long ago as they had all of last season and all summer to swing a deal with Moncton for Smith's rights. It's not like they would have had to give Moncton alot to acquire him, probably a mid to late round draft choice so I don't think the price of acquiring him before now would have been an issue.

Personally, I think they should give him a shot. He could make the team better. I know hes 19, but again, I feel like this is the season that the rocket needs to go for it, and he could make the team better
