Way to go Antoine.....nice work at camp!!!!
Also, kudos to Mark for his hard work as per always.....hoping he'll settle in the AHL this year for good, while NHL would be awesome, I can see him sticking in the AHL, hes a gritty, hard working player and I loved watchin him play.

And...Not getting Mark Lee back that year was the first of many mistakes by this team.....

Antoine is coming back to PEI tonight. Savard spoke with Glen Sather and said that he REALLY REALLY needs Antoine for the beginning of the season. Glen Sather and Tom Renney wanted to keep him at the big camp until monday for pro level experience but maybe next year...
What do you guys think about this ?
maybe Mosher was pistoff and went home ... so PEI was in trouble

if that is how it went down tho i don't agree with it.. missing 2-3 games to gain pro experience would only help antoine's confidence imo
however it still will be nice to see him in goal for my winning qmjhl pool team tomorrow night!

Glen Sather and Tom Renney wanted to keep him at the big camp until monday for pro level experience WOW - It is a shame to deprive the Kid of the opportunity to stay. I'm sure he worked hard to get the chance. His experience at that level for a couple days would have been better than spending the weekend here even if we "really really" needed him. I'm not sure how it could be that we "really really" needed him for the first two games of a seventy game season where almost every team makes the playoffs. I know come March it always seems that the final points are an issue determining match-ups and home ice advantage, but if we can't contend for two games without him where are we if he gets hurt? Surely there was someone else we could have called on to back stop Gelinas for two games. All that said It will be good to have him for the home opener.

Wonder how many times this takes place?
CHL teams asking NHL teams to release players a bit early.....
Sucks for Lafleur, as Im sure he'd benifit from it, but is this a common thing?
