Drummondville's 20s

I just read that Pellieter has been traded to Halifax for Peters and a 3rd.

That now leaves Drummondville with 4 20 yr old forwards.

Cacciotti (54 gms / 27 goals / 49 pts)

Howes (47 gms / 25 goals / 42 pts)

Bellevance-Martin (70 gms / 24 goals / 62 pts)
* Rumoured to be out 6 weeks with injury

Peters (61 gms / 22 goals / 39 pts)

Just wondering if maybe the Rocket could add one of these players and what do people think the cost might be.


Obviously Cacciotti would be the preference but I think for the right price I would like to add any one of these guys. Here is the rough cost that I think would be worth it for the Rocket.

For Cacciotti
Locke or Cliche and a 3rd Round Pick


For Howes
Cliche and a 4th Round Pick


For Bellavance
a 3rd Round pick


For Peters
a 4th Round pick


I am mentioning draft picks but more likely Drummondville would want to try and get a player in return for any of them.

Scott Howes is a good, underrated player. He's a good goal scorer, could make a very capable trigger man. I think he'd be solid on the top line with Walker and Mo.

I'd prefer Cacciotti though. B-M is a centreman and more of playmaker then a scorer I believe, which we have plenty of on the top lines.

Bellanvance-Martin's injury is no rumour. Their coach was talking about in the newspapers.

Perhaps Peters is just a stopgap/throwin for the time that Martin is injured. When he comes back Drummondville can decide where they are going this year and make the appropriate move, certainly Howes and especially Cacciotti would be assets for a team making a run this year.

Cacciotti would cost more than that...underrated player...he could hit 100 pts this year and he brings a physical edge, and I believe hes their captain.

bellavance-martin has a fractured fibula and will be out two months at least.
