Sorry to say that Street is not playing for the Abbies tonight. No need to be sorry. Kid is 16.....he's not gonna play to much with this lineup this season. He know's that, and im sure he's fine with it...if not, he' would have left. and as i said, I herd he will play some games with the Abbies this season.....

This is the 4th game.....and was Malouin rotated in and out last season? NO!! He filled in when others were injured, away, or suspended. I am not trying to be an ass here but you have to look at history. Yannick will ice the best available players in each game. Hes fighting to save his job. Whats the point? Is that not how things should get done? Would you have wanted Malouin in the lineup every game last season? If so, who would you have sat? I dont really see the whole issue........

I know you have the best intentions for the kids Score. You are a wonderful advocate for the boys, so I hope that I am not coming off as an idiot. My comments stem from my concern for player development and Jean's history...and again I don't totally blame Jean because at this level its a business and Jean wants to keep his job. My beef is that we have one kid who is Mjr A ready and not getting a chance to play. Thats not fair to him, and we have another who's parents will only get to see him a limited number of times due to distance...and thats not fair to him. I want to see whats best for the kids confidence. despite the slow start of PEI, I still feel they are very deep in talent and will have a record year. I would prefer to see them not hurt the "extras" by just keeping them around especially when they really need another forward for the run and they have a first round talent that would be good trade bait in Clow. And really...morally they should dress Street for the NFLD games at least and give him a few shirts for the sake of his family.

You cant dress a player just because its his hometown and he wants to play in front of his friends and family.....the coach is gonna do what he is going to do and he is gonna dress who he is going to dress...he wont dress a player just because he may be playing at home...nor should he. I feel bad for these kids yes, they have to sit there and watch their team play and they dont get to see the ice a whole lot...hell some sit on the bench fully dressed and dont see the ice.

Jean only really uses 3 lines anyway, so there would be no harm in dressing the kid. He has to get some experience sometime.

Whats the diff if he dresses...would he rather sit in the stands and not get on the ice or sit fully dressed on the bench and not see one shift....

looking at the lineup tonight...........Jean seems to use his bench pretty good actually.
All players seem to get some ice time......as they should in a game like this.

well.....for the possible scenario when your team is leading 5-1 and can afford to give you some playing time

Just want to shed a little light on the Street situation as of today Street went to board the bus with the team when he got to the buss he was told sorry no room (after being told he would suit up in SJs) normally I’d just think that it was kind of shitty. The weird part is he is billeted right now with either a member of the staff who travels with the team or his billets left town for the weekend. So what the rocket essentially done was leave a 16yo alone a no no for almost all clubs billets, if you have an under age player they are not to be left alone. Since he was not on the bus thus not on the team flight he made his way home today on his own dollar and is now here in town. It is unclear weather or not Street will return with the rocket to PEI. Personally this seems like a really shitty thing to do to a 16 yo I understand that it’s business and all, but the least they could have done was put him on the bus/plane and bring him home instead of leaving a 16yo to fend for himself. You don’t have to believe me but that’s the story as of now.

Thats really unfortunate! I am rooting for Streeter and I hope he can be strong enough to endure the "business" part of this organization, and get a chance to develop into the star he has the potential to be

I don't believe they would leave town and leave the kid alone without any billets....I don't think things are that bad!

Maybe his billets didn't know the Rocket would not be taking him and made plans, these people have lives as well ? No more room on the bus....what kind of lame excuse is that to leave a teammate home!!!!
