Either way it was hot in there tonight. It felt almost like the Mem Cup. Not quite as bad but still hot.

Sounds perfectly miserable.
Now I'm considering not going.....certainly can't wear my Rocket jersey or my beloved Rocket tuque in that kind of environment.
............maybe my Rocket underwear, though..........

It was also 30 degrees outside yesterday. We do not expect that warm temperatures tomorrow, so it should be cooler. Also, closer to the ice it is cooler.

Well it's official, definitely going to the game on Friday. Leaving town at 12:30PM, returning right after the game. Tell me, is the Coliseum as hot indoors as it was Memorial Cup week in 2006? Apparently temp indoors reached 30C at one point. Hope not. It was some hot that Memorial Cup week, we were high up in the seats and my friend and I ended up staning down by the doors to watch the rest of the game cause the heat was so unbearable. Tho the place was PACKED!

Yes, I'll definitely be there, with Ms Pound.
Section 5, low as I can get.
Early, too, soon as we finish up at St Hubert.

It is supposed to be 20 C and rain all day on Friday ... so the rink will be very comfortable ... no sun beating down on the roof.
We have a cooling system in the Coliseum ?

There's definitely no cooling system in the Coliseum. They need one, that's for sure.
I was in the Coliseum before the game on Wednesday, in the afternoon, and you couldn't see anything on the ice, it was so foggy. They actually cranked the heat up, to get rid of the fog. Maybe a reason why it was so hot in the building that night.
Tonight should be a lot bareable. It's pouring like hell here in Moncton and the temperature is cooler. Although the ice will be not so good because of the concert here last night.
Have a safe trip over, y'all.

i'm having a hard time feeling good about tonights game,,, I personally don't expect a win. Hoping for one, but I really doubt it. Truth is, the Flu HAS been going through the team, and I don't expect any different result tonight then what we've seen last night.

So have the Rocket cut Cory out all together or what? I have only been able to get the home teams announcers for the past 3 or so games.
